jurassic park

Blockbusters have very simple story-line that are easy to understand and are universal possible audience.

Advancements in scientific technology have enabled a entrepreneur to create an island full of living dinosaurs. He invited four individuals, along with his two grandchildren, to join him at Jurassic Park. But will everything go to plan? One of the parks' own workers attempts to steal the dinosaur embryos, and has to shut down security systems in the process. They have to survive with dangerous dinosaurs wandering all over the island.

Blockbusters are populated by characters who are easy to understand.

John Hammond is the owner of Jurassic Park and founder of InGen. Based on famed American industrialist and dinosaur collector Andrew Carnegie. It is said that his full name is John Alfred Hammond.. In the films, he appears as a sympathetic grandfather, but in the book he is depicted as a cold.

Lex and Tim Murphy

Tim is Lex’s brother and John Hammond's grandson. He is easily annoyed by and annoys his sister. He is described as being a bespectacled boy of about eleven. In both film and novel, he and Dr. Grant strike up a friendship because of Tim's interest in and knowledge of dinosaurs.

Lex is Tim Murphy's sister and John Hammond's granddaughter. She is a sporty young girl who loves baseball and is relatively outgoing, described as being a girl about seven or eight with blonde hair, a baseball cap, and a baseball glove slung over her shoulder.

Mainstream Hollywood, UK/US Collaborations, and Independent Film

production values.

the technical elements of a production, as the lighting, décor, or sound in a film, often, specif., such elements that are enhanced to increase audience appeal.

Why are these important to the producer and audience.

These are important to producers because they help them improve the quality of the movie, consequently giving them a respectable reputation and producing more money. They are also significant to audiences due to the improvement the film viewing experience, making it more pleasurable and convincing.

Is there a difference between British film production values and American film production values?

British film production values are lower than American films. Americans put a significant amount more money and energy into their production values, making higher. This is because both American film and television have a bigger audience, guaranteeing the return of the money they used up. To preserve this large number of viewers they must pay close attention to their production values and make the movies as thorough and entertaining as possible. The more money they allocate, the more enhanced the movie, thus the more revenue.

Film production company's

  1. production company is generally involved in producing either recorded or live entertainment. It might be responsible for booking and overseeing live rock shows, for instance. Alternately, most think of this type of company as involved in funding, helping to facilitate the making of, and distributing films and/or television programs.
  2. Most often, the production company for films and television provides the money, and thus sets the budget, and may also make decisions on what director, and actors can be hired. Budget often makes other decisions possible or impossible. A low budget film may not be able to be filmed in a remote location, for example.
  3. The company may also come attached with certain actors, directors, or film editors and photographers. Often this is especially the case when it belongs to a major studio, like Touchstone Pictures, which belongs to Disney. Directors who have contracts with Touchstone are more likely to be offered jobs produced by Touchstone.
  4. An independent production company is a company to doesn't have ties with bigger groups and they work by there self.a company that is independent of any broadcaster and produces programmes for several of them. They may also make programmes for non-broadcast purposes (for corporate clients) or produce TV-related material, like interactive or multi-media content
  5. Patchwork Productions was founded in 2004 by independent Producer Christine Hartland. Christine has over fifteen years of experience in corporate film and event production - corporate clients include BT, Nokia, Barclays, GSK, sanofi-aventis, Volvo (3D film), BlackBerry, Ford, Human Rights Watch and she has also worked on projects such as World Expo 2000. In 2008 she produced her first feature film, the political thriller WMD by David Holroyd represented by Independent Film Company which had its simultaneous UK Theatrical and iTunes release in Autumn 2009. WMD was one of the first British film to follow a reverse distribution strategy.
